JEE Main Entrance Exam 2020
JEE Main is a national level competitive exam being conducted by NTA to provide admissions in undergraduate engineering programmes for B.E/B.Tech & B.Arch courses. Thus, the JEE Mains 2020 will take place in the month of January and April. The offline JEE Main exam will now take place in an Online mode in 3 Hours of exam duration. About JEE Main 2020
- From 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be governing the JEE Mains exam

JEE Main 2020 Preparation Tips
JEE Main is one of the national level competitive examinations for aspiring engineering students. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE (Joint Entrance Examinations) Mains in online mode to offer admission to all the BTech courses in the participating institutes of JEE Main. This year, JEE Main 2020 for January session will be conducted from January 6 to 11 while the April session will be held from April 3 to 9. JEE Main Counselling 2020
JEE Main 2020 counselling will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The JEE Main counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted in online mode only on the official website of JoSAA. Candidates successfully scoring the minimum cut off marks will be considered eligible to participate in JEE Mains 2020 Counselling process.
The authority is expected to start the JEE Main counselling from the third week of June. JEE Main 2020 counselling happens after JEE Advanced results are declared. The seat allotment process of JEE Main 2020 will be held on the basis of choices filled by the candidates during JoSAA 2020 registration.
Based on applicant’s category, rank obtained, seats availability and other factors, seats will be allocated. After the seat allocation, candidates have to report at the allotted institution for the document verification process.
JEE Main 2020 Counselling – Procedure
Step 1: Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website of JoSAA. Candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2020 will have to register to participate in JEE Main counselling.
Step 2: In the second step, candidates have to lock their college and course preference. Seats will allotted to the aspirants based on availability of seats and choices.
Step 3: Seats will be allocated to the candidates on the basis of their ranks obtained in JEE Main 2020. Mock seat allotment by JoSAA will be conducted in two rounds.
Step 4: After the seat allotment procedure candidates have to pay the counselling fees and confirm their seats. However, if candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat than they can use float, freeze, slide and withdraw.

JEE Main 2020 Answer Key
To access the answer key candidates have to enter their application number and password. After downloading it, candidates will get to know the correct answers of the questions asked in the test and able to calculate the probable score.
JEE Main 2020 answer key for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can view the JEE Main answer keys for Paper 1 and 2 on the official website along with JEE Main question papers and recorded responses. The exam conducting authority will publish JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 and 2 Answer Key for January session in the third week of January 2020. The JEE Main final answer key 2020 for January session contains the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. The facility to challenge JEE Main April 2020 answer keys will also be available after publication of official answer keys.
JEE Main 2020 Result
JEE Main 2020 results will be announced on 31st January 2020 for the January session test. Result for April session test will be released on 30th April 2020. Candidates can access their results by entering their Application Number, Date of Birth and the Security Pin displayed on the page.
